1971 DODGE CHALLENGER 383 CONVERTIBLE
WHEN THIS CANADIAN CAR WAS ORDERED, IT GOT ONE OF THE MOST UNIQUE COLOR COMBINATIONS THAT WE'VE SEEN. ITS FINISHED IN ITS CORRECT (GW3) BRIGHT WHITE PAINT WITH A (V3W) WHITE CONVERTIBLE TOP AND A (V6W) WHITE LONGITUDINAL STRIPE.
IT IS RUNNING ITS CORRECT NUMBERS MATCHING (E65) 383 MAGNUM ENGINE MATCHED TO A (D32) 727 HD AUTOMATIC.
AS IS KNOWN, THE 383 MAGNUM WAS THE LARGEST ENGINE AVAILABLE IN THE 1971 CHALLENGER CONVERTIBLE LINE UP. THE FENDER TAG ON THIS ONE IS FULL, GETTING MOST THE OPTIONS FOUND ON THE R/T MODEL.
IN ADDITION TO THE HIGH PERFORMANCE DRIVETRAIN, SOME OTHER OPTIONS CORRECT TO THE FENDER TAG INCLUDE (A62/N85) RALLYE GAUGES WITH TACH, (A01) LIGHT PACKAGE, (B51) POWER BRAKES AND (P37) POWER TOP.
THE QUALITY OF THE RESTORATION ON THIS E BODY IS EXCELLENT. THE BODY PANELS ON THIS CHALLENGER ARE LASER STRAIGHT, STILL RETAINING THE ORIGINAL FACTORY INSTALLED QUARTER PANELS. THE PAINT LOOKS GREAT AND UNDERNEATH IS AS SOLID AS THE TOP. TRULY A BLUE-CHIP COLLECTABLE.
