5:00PM SATURDAY FEATURE
1933 FORD EXTENSIVELY MODIFIED 3 WINDOW COUPE

This rolling art piece is the 1991 winner of the most coveted award attainable for a custom car, the Ridler award of the 39th Annual Autorama in Detroit, Michigan. This unique, chopped top, suicide door, 3-window was originally conceived by Boyd Coddington in the late 80s. The unfinished car was procured in the rough by automotive aficionado Tony Carlini and sent to master custom car builder Gary Case in Ohio. Under the scrutinizing eye of Mr. Carlini this car had roof and cowl filled, hinges hidden, a hand made custom front end, door pillars changed and extensive custom modifications. This show-stopper is finished top, bottom and inside out in Anthracite Grey, Sikkens Urethane Enamel. Never ending custom features include all 3 power windows, door handles deleted, Alpine sound system, custom made Recaro seats, custom VDO guages and air conditioning.

Drivetrain is small block Chevy with Tuned Port fuel injection, Turbo Hydramatic 350 Transmission, customized Jaguar rear-end, headers and custom exhaust. The underside is just as beautiful as the topside with purple anodizing, endless polished aluminum and chrome components, candy purple paint, and even a hand pin-striped oil pan by Mr. Carlini himself.

Recent upgrade is a set of 17 and 19 custom made polished aluminum knock-off wheels made under the supervision of Chip Foose. Brand new Michelin Sport Pilot tires accompany these beautiful custom wheels. Original 14 and15 custom Boyds wheels and Goodyear Eagles will also be included with this car.
