LOWERED RESERVE! 1957 CADILLAC FLEETWOOD SERIES 60 SEDAN
Cadillacs were truly the envy of the world when this 1957 Fleetwood Series 60 sedan was built. This Caddy was originally from Arizona and imported five years ago into Alberta. Registration is up to date in Alberta.

The two-tone blue-over-black combination on this big 4-door hardtop is a great driver-quality example that's striking in a low-profile kind of way. The finish is by no means concours condition, with imperfections found upon closer inspection, but it has an all-around great look with a nice shine that's perfect for anyone looking to drive and impress. The 100% RUST FREE undercarriage and body with straight lines that emphasizes the generous curves, up to and including the P51-inspired tailfins, which had not yet grown to grotesque proportions. Chrome and polished aluminum trim work (and there is A LOT of it here) is in pristine condition, from the pointed "Dagmars" up front (look it up), to the unique rear cladding that flows into the big rear bumper, and the distinctive faux air vents on the rear doors that were an evolution of Cadillac's mid-'50s design, everything has been polished to a nice shine. And with the gold in the grille this Caddy puts the '57 Bel Air to shame. Even the original EZI glass is still in place and all but unobtainable today. The curb appeal of this classic is finished off with flawless Kelsey Hayes Wire Wheels, yes that’s correct, those are Cadillac commissioned wheels, not Hubcaps!

The interior is in excellent condition with no rips or tears, there is however, some fading in the material. The headliner is flawless as well as the chrome trim around it. The carpet and door panels appear to be original and have recently been shampooed.

All the emblems and hood ornament have been removed from the car and replaced with custom pin stripe however, they are all in excellent shape and come with the car. From behind the big steering wheel, you can instantly see where Cadillac spent money on the design, starting with that intricate gauge package surrounded in chrome. Those gauges are augmented with a trio of aftermarket units to the right of the wheel, and the original AM radio accompanies the emblems in a box in the trunk. The under-dash speaker is still in place with a Cadillac upgraded stereo, cd changer, and power antenna. Out back, the massive trunk is elegantly upholstered and features a mounted spare underneath a matching carpeted cover.

The engine runs smooth and true and the car drives and handles the way you would expect a 1957 Caddy to ride. The air conditioning is there and appears to be updated, however I have never tried it. (Belt is in the trunk). All signal lights, headlights, and tail lights work like they should. The horn is in place but not currently wired.

A perfect summer weekend cruiser that will turn heads and spark conversations wherever it is driven.
